Japanese summer, an Imabari "ONMAKU" festival. コメント(6)読む・投稿する
I can speak only English like the baby.
It is a childish sentence, but I do my best and write it.
In the world climate, there is the area only of wet season and the dry season, too, but, in Japan, there is four season called the winter in autumn in the summer in spring.
In the Japanese spring, a flower blooms in profusion and presents a gentle feeling.
In Japanese summer, temperature rises, and sea bathing becomes popular and harks back to paradise of the opening.
In the Japanese autumn, green is stained with vermilion and yellow and lets you feel emotion and taste.
In the Japanese winter, temperature falls, and it snows and tells the memory of this year and imagines the ambition of the next year.
At the time of such Japanese summer, I am excited at each ground "festival".
In our Imabari, there are "a sum drum", "a dance", "wind music" in a schedule of 2nd and completes it with "fireworks" in the last.
The fireworks of Imabari "ONMAKU Festival" are famous, and, in the program, many sightseers come from each place.
ONMAKU means "as hard as possible" "intensely" "very hard".
The fireworks of ONMAKU hark back to the musical of a very beautiful night sky.
Surely the scene of the force and the fascination will make you who came feel happy.
In 2008, No. 11 Imabari "ONMAKU Festival" is performed for two days on August 2 and August 3.
The T-shirt of calligraphy "Vajra" becomes the item exciting a feeling of such you still more.

Every summer I enjoy beautiful fireworks at my friend' house. Some day I would like to buy your T-shirt.

I just discovered your blog at Rocking in Hakata where Deas was commenting on the Posters for the festival. I agree that they are very cool. Is the theme for the Imabari "ONMAKU Festival" the same every year? I don't understand what is being celebrated but it still looks like fun.I have just started to learn Japanese and I will bookmark this blog to help me along. Thanks ;-)
